Policy
Refund and cancellation policy
Last updated August 18, 2026. This policy is part of the terms of service and applies to every subscription started through this site.
Cancellation
- Cancel any month, effective at the next renewal. No contract, no minimum term, no notice period beyond the current billing month, no retention call.
- The month already billed runs to its end and its report still arrives. Sourcing does not stop early on a cancelled month you paid for.
- Links already earned are yours forever. Nothing is unpublished, retracted or held hostage when you leave.
Refunded in full
- A billed month where no sourcing work has begun. If a renewal charges and you cancel before that month's sourcing starts, the charge is returned in full.
- Onboarding that cannot proceed. If it turns out at intake that no attorney can be quoted publicly on anything, we refund rather than run a subscription that cannot work.
- A billing error. Duplicate or incorrect charges are refunded when identified, without a form to fill in.
Not refundable
- A delivered month that came in under the average. Link counts are averages and are stated as averages everywhere on this site. The honest measure is the trailing few months against the tier's range, and a subscription persistently under range is a conversation we start.
- Ranking, traffic or lead outcomes. Nothing here is sold on any of them, so no refund is tied to one.
- Coverage you disliked after it published. Standing instructions and off-limits topics exist exactly so this does not happen; adjust them any time and they bind every future pitch.
Under-average months, plainly
Earned media has variance; averages have two sides. If a month lands under the tier's range, the report says so plainly. If a subscription runs persistently under its range, we raise it, and the usual remedies are a sourcing adjustment, a tier change at renewal, or parting on good terms with everything earned kept.
How to cancel or request a refund
Reply to any report or billing email and say so. No form, no retention script, no three-step process designed to make you give up. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and typically clear in 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
The short version. If we have not started the work, you get the money back. If the work ran and the month was thin, the report says so and the trailing average is the fair test. And whatever you decide, every link already earned stays yours.
